Megan Mullality, who starred as the voice of Megan and Selena in the animated series “Sex and The City” and as a regular on the ABC series “The View,” is gearing up to publish her first book.
Mullally, who also voices the character of Monica Geller in Disney’s “The Lion King,” has signed an exclusive deal with Penguin Random House, the publisher of the “Sex” books, for a book about her time in the Disney show.
Mullality is currently the executive producer of the new book, which she has penned with her friend and longtime partner, Kristin Russo.
She will be publishing the book with a team of other Disney authors including Michael J. Sullivan and Michelle G. Dolan.
Mullals book will be a collaboration with Sullivan, who co-wrote with her.
Mullalty is no stranger to writing about her life.
In 2010, she co-authored a memoir with former Disney cast member Olivia Wilde called “My Life on Broadway.”
In 2012, she wrote an autobiography titled “Sisterhood,” about her childhood and relationship with her sisters, as well as her sister’s relationship with the late actress Rosie O’Donnell.
“My Family and I: A Life on the Road” was published in January, and is available now on Amazon.
Mullalities first book, “My Mother’s Life on Sunset Boulevard,” is set to be published in June.
She said in a statement that she was “excited to collaborate with the authors of ‘Sex’ on my memoir.”
The two authors have also written two novels for children.
Mullall said in her statement that the book will feature an essay on her time on “The Talk,” a radio show where she became a regular and where she also interviewed various people.
Mullal is the daughter of longtime Disney producer Jim Mullality and former Disney executive producer/writer Robert Mullality.
