Posted September 29, 2018 09:29:13When it comes to the education of future leaders, we’ve got a few things in common: We all want our kids to be smart, creative, and independent, and we want to see that happen from a young age.
This week, HBO aired a BET Education series on the future of education.
In it, a team of educational professionals and experts discusses how they are developing and refining their curriculums and strategies for educating our children in the 21st century.
First, they talk about the education challenges faced by today’s youth, and what they are doing to create a more connected, educated future.
The curriculum is designed to be flexible enough to adapt to the unique needs of today’s students, but highly aligned with current research and trends.
The series highlights research showing that kids from poor families are most likely to engage in disruptive behavior at an early age.
The team behind the program includes: a psychologist, educator, and teacher, and a former teacher who is now a professor at the University of California, Berkeley.
The educational team will also provide advice on how to prepare your kids for college.
