The US is home to nearly 30% of the world’s population with a higher rate of educational attainment than other countries, but it’s a far cry from the other countries that dominate the world in terms of their tertiary attainment.
It’s worth noting that tertiary-educated Americans have been living in the country for decades and have access to a large and diverse range of educational opportunities.
The American education system is highly integrated, with its top-tier institutions in a number of different fields, from higher education to health care to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).
As a result, American students are able to attend a variety of programs at a variety (and often expensive) prices.
The following are some of the best tertiaries in the United States.
The University of North Carolina, Chapel HillThe University is home of the nation’s most selective colleges and universities, and its flagship school, the University of NC, has seen a dramatic rise in the number of students taking classes in the last decade.
According to the US Department of Education, the number one-ranked institution in the U.S. for students studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) has seen an average increase of 5.8% annually since 2008, which is up from 2.3% between 2007 and 2008.
It also saw an average of 7,000 additional students entering the university’s undergraduate degree programs over the same time period, which has helped make it a great place to study in.
With more than 700,000 students, UNC is considered one of the most selective institutions in the nation.
The school has been in the top 10 for a number, including the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Collegiate Hockey Association, and the NCAA Division I Collegiate Basketball Tournament.
